KVM Switches and Extenders for Secure, Stable, Latency-free Data Transmission

Fault-free data transmission with minimum latency is an essential prerequisite for control rooms and trading floors. But this is not always the case. PS/2 and USB protocols for keyboards and mice are designed for a maximum of 5-10m. Control rooms and trading floors often support a multitude of input devices and cable connections, which can make the working environment uncomfortable, confusing and inefficient. 

IP Remote USB

WEYTEC Extender IP Remote USB provides a transparent USB-over-IP channel for devices such as hard disks, flash drives, fingerprint and card readers, audio devices, webcams and more. In combination with a WEYTEC distributionPLATFORM, USB connections can be switched between desks and PCs.

Hardware-based: Network and I/O cards for System Integration

In today’s digitized world, companies need to integrate multiple, disparate systems and provide their staff with efficient access to all sources. Software-based integration is a common approach, but it comes with drawbacks such as regular software updates, complex interdependencies with operating system versions and an expensive dependency on software companies. WEYTEC uses network cards and I/O cards to integrate customer systems and sources. 

IP Remote Audio Mixer

The IP Remote Audio Mixer is a KVM Integrator that combines up to 16 digital and 2 analog audio signals. The resulting IP Remote audio stream is available across the entire network as input for multiple KVM receivers, a smartTOUCH console, or additional audio mixers that combine more source signals. 

IP Network Separation Card

IP Network Separation Cards work with two independent WDP systems. Each WDP system connects a selection of sources to IP Remote Transmitters and a workplace with two IP Remote Receivers and a smartTOUCH keyboard. Although the components are connected to two WDP switches over the same VLAN, they are not connected to each other because they reside on separate networks. Users can switch and toggle between both networks with their smartTOUCH keyboards.

The smartVISUAL master, as a KVM Controller and video processor, provides for the decentralized management of multiple real and virtual video walls with different resolutions. It also manages all sources as well as the video and network settings. The smartVISUAL Master is active only when switching or changing layouts and sources.

IP Grabber Cards

WEYTEC IP Grabber Cards capture audio and video content and record keyboard and mouse movements. The data is converted to IP streams which are recorded over standard network infrastructure. IP Grabber cards are deployed in between sources and the input or output device. They can be installed either at the source (in the system room) or at the workplace. They do not interfere with existing hardware or software.
